FSSC22000 is developed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification in the Netherlands, fully covering IS0 22000, combined with some specific industry technical specification prerequisites (PRPs), HACCP, CODEX (United Nations Codex Alimentarius Commission), and additional requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and has been fully recognized by GFSI. FSSC22000 is a global, auditable, and currently the most comprehensive food safety management system standard.
